Samsung's next Galaxy S-series handset could arrive with upgraded rear panel

Despite there being rumors about Samsung's next Galaxy S devices for quite some time, the really juicy bits have just started to come out over the past month, giving us a better idea of what the phone might look like. Now, we are getting more details, like how it might be offered in a model that will come with a ceramic back.

Samsung's current Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ look quite good but utilize glass for the rear portions of the phones. SamMobile has come out to say that there will be a few different models but a variant with a ceramic back will arrive in black and white colorways. Not only will this model look and feel good, but it will also offer better protection against everyday dings and scratches.

The ceramic model will be special, as the company celebrates the tenth anniversary of the Galaxy S line, which means it will also have top-of-the-line storage, which could come in at 512GB. The phone will reportedly have a large 6.7-inch display, have four rear cameras, and will offer support for 5G. Naturally, we are still many months away from the announcement of the phones, so things could change until then.
