Sega has made it known that it will release its classic 3D fighting game Virtua Fighter 2 on the PlayStation 2, as volume 16 of the Sega Ages 2500 series. In addition to the original arcade version that was released in 1994, the game will include the 2.1 version, an updated edition released in 1995. Since the Saturn version was slightly trimmed down, fans will for the first time be able to play the game in its full arcade glory.
