Skype gives free month of landline calls

Chatting through Skype can be an excellent way to get in touch with people, but its full potential isn't realised without Skype Credit. Normally, Skype Credit is not free but at the moment you can score a free month from the company themselves.

Some limitations exist, such as a fair-usage policy, so you can't go too wild. Don't go calling a premium-rate line unless you have your own credit, in other words. Certain countries are exempt from the offer, so do make sure you read the small print. Somehow it isn't available in Russia, but you can call landlines in Russia - providing they're in Moscow or St. Petersburg. This should help you tell.

If you'd like something for nothing, now is the time to act. The offer expires tomorrow. If you want to take advantage of the offer, do it now, for you're not getting another shot at free. We're yet to find someone complaining about getting a service for free legally. The price of free is not one to sneer at.
