Every year, on April 1, the world and particularly the Internet, kicks into high gear to celebrate April Fools' Day. On this day, you have to take in every bit of information with a bit of skepticism, since it's often hard to separate a joke from something that is real. While there are some pretty entertaining and elaborate pieces online, it looks like Snapchat has issued its own cheeky entry to celebrate the day by taking a slight jab at its rival Instagram.
If you are a Snapchat user, you might have noticed today that a few new filters made their debuts to the application. But one in particular is making a very good effort at mimicking its rivals looks. The Instragram-like filter allows you to take an image or video, and frame it in similar UI to that of Instagram. The filter even takes the humor up a notch by offering a simulated "like" from your own mother.
