Sonic Forces for the Nintendo Switch shows off customizable character creation

Although Sonic Mania was announced back in January and was originally slated for a spring launch, it was delayed and pushed back, instead opting for a release sometime in summer. Now, with summer nearly upon us, Nintendo has announced another Sonic game that will arrive on the Switch titled Sonic Forces.

The latest Sonic title is being produced by Sonic Team which has been previously attached to Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations. Players will be able to choose to play as classic Sonic or the more modern iteration with the green eyes. As an added bonus, players will be able to design their own character and use it to fight off the evil that threatens the world.

Per usual, Sonic will once again be trying to stop the world from the evil that is Dr. Eggman. But this time it looks as though he might be aided by a new and more powerful villain. Sonic Forces lands on Nintendo Switch this holiday.
