Sony reveals the games that will be 'optimized' for its new 4K-ready PlayStation 4 Pro

It's been almost two months since Sony unveiled the PlayStation 4 Pro, which it refers to as its "most powerful games console ever". The wait for the new console is almost at an end, as it will officially go on sale next Thursday, November 10.

The PS4 Pro promises support for high dynamic range (HDR) and 4K resolution, although Sony admitted in September that the majority of games "will be upscaled" to 4K, at least initially. That prompted Microsoft to point out that all first-party games launching alongside its Project Scorpio console, due next year, will "natively render at 4K".

Even so, Sony says that from day one, PlayStation 4 Pro gamers can still expect "enhanced performance via boosted CPU and GPU... and faster, more stable frame rates" when playing a range of titles on the new console.
