Sony set to celebrate Move and Empire Strikes Back in Home tomorrow [Update]

PlayStation Home patrons will have something more to be excited about starting tomorrow. According to N4G via PlayStation Blog, “So what’s happening in PlayStation Home this week? The two key highlights are the newest event – PlayStation Move takes over the Presentation Podium – and the next batch of costumes for LucasArts’ Empire Strikes Back 30th Anniversary.”

Beginning first thing tomorrow morning, the flood gates will re-open on the Presentation Podium space in celebration of PlayStation Move. Visitors to the space will automatically receive a PlayStation Move controller outfit that will enable them to access the whole event. After entering with your outfit equipped, you can begin the team challenge.

Simply coordinate with friends to earn more versions of the controller outfit (each version is a new color). After you have unlocked all versions of the outfit, you will receive a PlayStation Move outfit with an animated color orb. This costume is also complete with new emotes for your avatar.

Also taking place in Home this week is week two of the PlayStation Home Empire Strikes Back 30thanniversary celebration. During this week of the celebration, the Boba Fett Mandalorian, Han Solo, and Luke Skywalker outfits will be released. Also, those that visit Home this week should stop by the Central Plaza kiosk to pick up their pair of Yoda Ears (free for one week only).

In the Star Wars Cantina space that was released last week, you can experience one of the franchise’s most iconic scenes re-enacted PlayStation Home style. It is sure to be an exciting week in Home this week with all of the above content and more coming your way from Sony.

Update: Playstation Home Community Manager Locust_Star just announced via PlayStation Home forums that there has been a misunderstanding. The PlayStation Move Event Space will not be releasing today!
