Sprint announces "iPhone Forever Revolution", a yearly smartphone upgrade program

Sprint today has announced a new yearly smartphone trade-in program dubbed "the iPhone Forever Revolution". This is great news for avid Apple fans, which are probably very eager to get their hands on the upcoming iPhone 6S, as the demand for it is higher than all previous models.

This is somewhat similar to Sprint's previous "iPhone for Life" plan, and it allows customers that activate any individual unlimited plan or family share pack plan to pay just $22 on top of the monthly fee to get the 16GB iPhone 6 model.

Sprint says that if you're eligible for the new program and want to jump in before December 31st 2015, you'll only pay $15 on top of your normal plan, and the discount will not expire until your next upgrade.

This move is likely to be a response to the competition which offers similar programs, and you can see how it compares from the above chart. It's important to stress the fact that you'll only be eligible for the $15 offer if you upgrade to the 16GB iPhone 6 first, while others will have to pay $22.
