SteelSeries debuts its latest gaming keyboard, the Apex 150

Over the past few months, SteelSeries has been on a roll, releasing the Apex M750, the Rival 310, Sensei 310, and most recently, the Rival 110. While the firm already has a pretty good lineup, it appears that the company isn't quite content, and has now released a new entry with the Apex 150.

The Apex 150 looks relatively muted from afar, but up close, you'll see a pattern that adds a nice accent to the otherwise subtle black color of the keyboard. As far as the keys go, they can be customized through RGB lighting in five zones and the keys rely on a proprietary membrane switch dubbed the "Quick Tension Switch". Since this is gaming accessory and the experience most certainly matters, the switches are engineered to offer extremely low friction, coupled with extended durability, while also feeling good to the touch.

The Apex 150 can also repel liquids with its internal membrane sheet, preventing extensive damage by funneling the spilled liquids through two drainage cavities. Like other SteelSeries products, you'll be able to take advantage of the SteelSeries Engine software that will allow you to customize the lighting experience to your liking.
