T-Mobile introduces Revvl 4, Revvl 4+ and Revvl 5G, a $400 5G smartphone

Today T-mobile took the wraps off three new devices, the Revvl 4, Revvl 4+ and Revvl 5G, the successors to its last generation of the Revvl smartphone brand, the Revvlry and Revvlry+. As usual, the phones are priced at an affordable price range, including the 5G model, which the telecommunications company is touting as 'America’s most affordable 5G smartphone, ever.'

All three smartphones are scheduled to go on sale on September 4. T-Mobile is offering several monthly payment plans to its customers for the devices. Those who opt for the monthly installment payment option can pay $5/month for the Revvl 4, $8/month for the Revvl 4+ and $16.67/month for the Revvl 5G over the span of 24 months. Meanwhile, the retail prices are set at $120, $192 and $399.99 respectively.

Mike Sievert, CEO of T-Mobile, commented on the launch of the reasonably priced Revvl 5G, stating:

“We’ve made incredible waves in 5G — with more coverage than AT&T and Verizon combined and the WORLD’s first standalone 5G — but we knew to truly make #5GforALL a reality, we needed more affordable 5G smartphones. And that’s why we’re launching the REVVL 5G — to smash one of the last remaining hurdles keeping people from getting 5G, at a time when America needs reliable connectivity the most.”

Moving on to the specs, the Revvl 4 has a 6.22-inch HD+ display, a 5MP front camera and a 13MP main camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio A22 and runs Android 10. It also has a 3500mAh battery, face unlock, a fingerprint sensor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

As for the Revvl 4+, the Revvl 4's big brother, it has a slightly larger 6.52 HD+ screen, a 16MP selfie snapper, and a 16MP and 5MP dual-camera setup on the back. T-Mobile's 4+ has a better Snapdragon 665 chipset which runs Android 10 and has a larger 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage configuration. In addition to face unlock and a fingerprint sensor, it has a bigger 4000mAh battery.

And finally, the Revvl 5G sports a 6.53-inch FHD+ display, a 16MP camera on the front and a triple camera setup housed on the rear consisting of a 48MP main lens, an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 5MP macro lens. This generation's top-of-the-line Revvl model boasts a Snapdragon 765 5G SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It runs Android 10 and has a 4500 mAh battery, face unlock and a fingerprint sensor.

In order to give prospective customers a more hands-on look at its newly unveiled products, T-Mobile has also uploaded an unboxing video featuring the Revvl 4, Revvl 4+ and Revvl 5G. Those who are interested can take a look at the video below.
