Studio Wildcard today gave a look at its upcoming open-world dinosaur survival game ARK: Survival Ascended. The game is now available on PC via Steam but the console versions have been delayed.

Developer Studio Wildcard says it's taking longer to remaster the original ARK with Unreal Engine 5.2 for ARK: Survival Ascended. It will have a lower price but with less content at launch.

Right alongside ARK 2's new trailer drop, Studio Wildcard has made its runaway hit survival game ARK: Survival Evolved free to claim on Steam. Only the sequel includes Vin Diesel unfortunately.

Sony isn't allowing PlayStation 4 owners to cross-play Ark: Survival Evolved with those on the Xbox One. The move is similar to its stance regarding cross-play in Minecraft and Rocket League.
