Microsoft has announced the release of Skype version 8.61 for all platforms, as well as the release of Skype version 15 for Windows 10, which replaces the existing React Native version with Electron.

Skype Preview was the default communications app in the Anniversary Update, and the app has remained in preview since then. But with the Creators Update, Microsoft is taking off the training wheels.
