Vaults full of treasure and mystery have arrived to Sea of Thieves alongside a brand new pet type, dogs. The content-filled monthly update is now available across PC and Xbox One family of consoles.

Today, Rare announced that Sea of Thieves was getting a Vaults of the Ancients update on September 9. The update adds new areas with lots of gold and dogs as pets. It'll be a free download next week.
