TCL officially launches its BlackBerry Motion with 4,000mAh battery

It was only last week that the BlackBerry Motion was revealed to the world in a leaked render. Now, BlackBerry has officially announced the handset, revealing the specifications of the device, its price, and where it will be made available.

As you might notice from the image, the new Motion is quite different from the BlackBerry KEYone, devoid of a physical keyboard, flaunting its 5.5-inch touchscreen display. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, offers 4GB RAM, and has an IP67 rating against moisture and dust.

The rear of the device houses the 12MP camera and you'll find an 8MP camera on the front. Since this is a BlackBerry, you'll want a device that can work all day. The 4,000mAh battery packed into the Motion should be able to achieve that. But, if you need to top up while on the go, you'll be happy to know that it offers support for QuickCharge 3.0.

As far as availability goes, the device will be in the United Arab Emirates, where it will retail for 1,699 AED or around $462 USD. The handset will also be available in Saudi Arabia and will make its way to other regions later in the year.
