Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy episode 4 drops next week

The news of a Telltale Games developed Guardians of the Galaxy game arrived last year, with three of the five episode series being released throughout this year. And now, the developer has announced that the game's penultimate episode will arrive early next week, continuing the standalone storyline of the popular superhero team.

Titled, Who Needs You, the upcoming episode's new trailer is seen above. However, anyone avoiding spoilers regarding the antics that the Guardians will get into may want to skip the trailer, as well as the episode description that the developer has provided below:

With the fate of the Eternity Forge decided, the Guardians are left more bitterly divided than ever. But this growing tension is temporarily sidelined by a more pressing problem: escaping a dark and treacherous cavern before they all get eaten alive. As the cave's hidden threats creep closer, Star-Lord must hold his crew together if he hopes to keep everyone safe. Safety, however, may ultimately come at a terrible cost…

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy episode four, Who Needs You, is slated for launch on October 10 as a $4.99 individual episode as well as a part of the $29.99 season pass. The episode is heading for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Android, and iOS devices.

Telltale also has a physical version of the entire season with a $29.99 price tag, that includes the first episode, Tangled Up in Blue, on the disk, with the remaining currently released and upcoming episodes requiring downloads.
