This week's highlights in new game releases: October 10-16

This week in new games is a big one if you like Xbox 360 exclusive game titles.  The major new release is Forza Motorsport 4, the next game in developer Turn 10's acclaimed racing sim series. If you have fantasies about driving super cars from 80 manufacturers in both offline and online modes, this game is for you. Another Xbox 360 exclusive game due out this week is Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster. This Kinect-themed family game, based on the long running PBS children's show, is being developed by Double Fine, the makers of Psychonauts. Yet another family themed Kinect-game due out this week is Kinectimals Now with Bears, a revamp of the 2010 game with added bears, obviously.

If you like your games filled with zombies, Capcom has you covered with Dead Rising 2: Off The Record. This PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 game has you playing Frank West, the hero of the first Dead Rising game, in the Vegas-like setting of Dead Rising 2. Namco Bandai is coming out with Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, the latest title in its modern military flight simulation series.

Other games due out this week include Might & Magic Heroes VI, the latest game in the long running PC fantasy turn-based strategy series, and the PC versions of the downloadable action games Orcs Must Die and Renegade Ops. If you have Dragon Age II, you can download a new single player DLC pack, Dragon Age II: Mark of the Assassin, for BioWare's fantasy RPG this week.
