THQ signs Sonic GBA games for 2004

THQ will publish both Sonic Battle and Sonic Advance 3 for the GBA across America next year.

Following the announcement of a similar deal for Europe and international territories earlier this year, THQ has today confirmed that it will publish Sonic Battle and Sonic Advance 3 in North, Central, and South America in the first half of 2004. The two Sonic-branded GBA games that the companies released previously have achieved combined sales of approximately a million units to date. "Sega's uncompromising approach to design innovation and game quality has captivated audiences of all ages across every viable gaming platform since Sonic debuted on the Sega Genesis in 1991," said Brian Farrell, president and CEO of THQ. "We look forward to delivering two compelling new Sonic adventures to handheld gamers in 2004."
