Thursday has a bunch of new PC game sales

If you like saving money, it's time once again to see what PC game download sites can give us in terms of new price cuts:

Steam - Valve's PC game download site has a number of new deals, beginning with the latest entry in the week long sale of Ubisoft titles. From now until 1 pm Eastern time on Friday you can get the original Far Cry first person shooter for a mere $2.50 or the more recent Far Cry 2 for $5. Again, nearly all of Ubisoft's games are on sale until Monday for at least 33 percent off.

Also on sale from now until Monday is the recent RTS game Shogun 2 Total War. You can get the game now for $33.49, a 33 percent price cut. You can also get a newly released DLC pack for the game, the Ikko Ikki Clan Pack. It adds the "warrior monk" clan to the game with new units, heroes and more for $4.99. You can also get the strategy-sim game Evil Genius on sale for today only for $4.49. Finally if you pre-order the upcoming action game Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine and you can get the action fantasy game Darksiders for free.

Direct2Drive - GameFly's PC game download site has the fantasy MMO Aion on sale for a limited time to $14.95, a 50 percent price cut.

Impulse - GameStop's download site has a number of games on sale this weekend, including ArmA II for $19.99 and the Battlefield 2 Collection for $10.19.
