Titanfall 2's August free DLC will add new Frontier Defense maps, a new execution, and more

Continuing the monthly tradition of free DLC for Titanfall 2, Respawn Entertainment has announced what is incoming for the game in August. The new DLC is titled Postcards From the Frontier, and its new trailer is seen above, showcasing an absurd amount of fast-paced action.

Arriving with the new content drop is the new Live Fire game mode exclusive map, Uma. The map features tight corridors that lead into three open areas with plenty of flanking opportunities.

The recently introduced cooperative mode, Frontier Defense, is expanding to include three new maps with this DLC. Fans of the horde mode will soon be able to defend their harvesters on Exoplanet, Angel City, and Drydock maps.

Killing five pilots using the Amped Wall tactical will grant players the new Hole in the Wall execution. For those curious on what this execution looks like, it's seen at the 39-second mark in the trailer above.

In addition, there are eight new Elite Weapon Warpaints arriving with the DLC, costing $4.99 each or $24.99 for the entire bundle.

The Postcards From the Frontier free DLC will be available on August 29 for all Titanfall 2 owners on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. EA recently released an Ultimate Edition of the game, which arrives with all Titans and Pilot abilities unlocked, giving new players an easier time jumping into the multiplayer. The game was also made available on Origin and EA Access subscription services earlier this month.
