Turn your SBLive! into an Audigy?

Warp2search (Thanks Bob) are running a follow up to the story that kind of re-surfaced again this week "Creative Soundblaster Audigy a fake?". They have managed to find a chinese site and translate the main points and guideline to "upgrading" your SBLive! to an "Audigy"

Heres what they say on the matter: Further to my earlier post Creative Sound Blaster Audigy is a FAKE? that says that someone in Taiwan or China claimed to have found a way to modify some audigy driver to install it to support his Live! and then the Live! card has full fuctionality as the Audigy except the 1394 port. well if you want to know how to do this and the driver. keep reading

DarkDeus okay finally I have found a link that's working. Seems some Chinese posted the article in a Taiwan soundcard messageboard, and although that Taiwan BBS got a warning letter from Creative from some Hongkong attorney. And I think they did the right thing. They actually put the letter and that article together for us to see their entirety
