Popular messaging platform Viber has released an updated version of their app on the Windows Phone Store. The update brings some major changes and improvements that will make many users quite happy.
Viber is a super popular messaging platform that’s present on almost every OS out there, including the desktop. And while iOS and Android clients have previously received important updates, the Windows Phone version has lagged behind – but no more.
The latest update brings a completely redesigned UI that’s much more inline with Windows Phone itself as well as other chat clients. It also brings many new features such as the ability to pin conversations with Live Tiles, Lock-screen chat notifications as well as improvements to notifications and switching between the phone and desktop apps.
All in all this is a very welcome update which Viber users should get right now, and here’s hoping regular important updates and feature parity with other platforms become the norm.
