Warhammer: Chaosbane coming to next-gen consoles

French video game company Nacon (previously known as BigBen Interactive) has announced that its recent hack and slash title from the Warhammer series is set to arrive on Sony and Microsoft's next-generation consoles. Warhammer: Chaosbane is already available on current-gen consoles and made its debut on the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms on June 4, 2019.

Since its release last year, Nacon has refreshed the game by introducing a new expansion pack titled Tomb Kings for the game. The DLC arrived on PC first, in December 2019, and made its way to consoles later on in early 2020. It added a new storyline, environments and enemies to Warhammer: Chaosborn. As of now, it is not known whether Tomb Kings will be available on the PS5 and Xbox Series X as well.

More details about the PS5 and Xbox Series X ports are yet to be revealed. The top-down action RPG will be heading over to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in the near future - an exact release date for the game is yet to be announced. This comes as no surprise as the consoles themselves are still missing definitive launch dates, despite the fast-approaching Holiday 2020 launch windows.

According to Nacon, more information about the upcoming video game is to be made available at some point in the future. Those who are interested in staying updated can do so by frequenting the official Warhammer: Chaosborn website.
