Windows 10: A few new touch friendly features in 9860

The latest build of Windows 10 to hit the public release channel is build 9860 and it brings with it many new features. While most updates have been for desktop users, we are starting to see new additions for those of you who have touch based devices.

The first feature for touch users is that the keyboard will automatically pop up when touching a text box, the second is access to the title bar by swiping down in full screen modern apps and the third is access to the taskbar by swiping up when a modem app is in full screen mode. You can check out these three new features in the video below.

This is likely the start of what will be many improvements for touch based devices like the Surface Pro 3.

With over 7000 improvements in this build when compared to the prior release, there are likely many enhancements that have not been uncovered yet or been announced by Microsoft. If you happen to find anything that hasn't been covered, make sure to send us a tip.
