Windows 10 build 10176 has leaked onto the web

Yesterday, Microsoft rolled out its latest Windows 10 Insider Preview, build 10166, to the Fast ring, as development of the OS continues to inch closer to the all-important RTM milestone. Now, the newer build 10176 has leaked online, and like earlier Windows 10 preview leaks, this one appears to have originated in China.

Since this leak is still very fresh, we don't yet know what improvements or features it brings compared with other recent builds. However, Microsoft has made it clear that remaining builds leading up to Windows 10's launch on July 29 will focus on bug-fixing and adding polish to the user experience, so don't expect to see any big new features in there.

As ever, we recommend caution if you choose to download and install this build. Given that it's a leak and not an official release, there may well be significant issues that aren't well-documented by Microsoft, so if you're not equipped to deal with unexpected bugs, you should think twice before installing it.

As per our editorial policy, we will not provide download links for the leaked build.
