AdDuplex released its monthly report today, showing Windows usage based on usage of apps that run the AdDuplex SDK v2 or higher on the day of January 28. AdDuplex runs on over 5,000 Microsoft Store apps.
As we prepare for the RTM build of the next Windows 10 feature update, the current feature update to Windows 10, the October 2018 Update, is still off to a very slow pace. It's now installed on just 12.4% of Windows 10 machines, up from 6.6% last month.
Naturally, the rest decreased. The April 2018 Update is still on top at 80.2%, down from 83.6%. The Windows 10 Fall Creators Update dropped to 4% from 5.7%, the Creators Update dropped to 1.4% from 1.8%, the Anniversary Update fell from 1.4% to 1.2%, and version 1511 fell from 0.5% to 0.4%. The original version of the OS, 1507, fell from 0.3% to 0.2%, and the amount of Insiders remains stagnant at 0.2%.
Once again, we can see that the Windows 10 October 2018 Update has the slowest rollout in Windows 10 history.
Not much has changed in the list of most popular Surface devices. The Surface Pro 6 no longer sites in the number five spot, as it's been usurped by the Surface 3. Interestingly, the original Surface Pro seems to have overtaken the Surface Book 2.
