We have already reported on the early version of Internet Explorer 11 that was part of the leaked Windows Blue build, including its tab syncing features, but that's not all that can be found in IE11. There's is yet another new feature that's not currently in the IE10 Modern build that should be welcomed by users of the browser.
The leaded IE11 build includes a way to access a list of downloads from the browser by pressing on the wrench icon. You should then be able to press on the View Downloads selection to see the download list. Quite frankly, this should have been in the Modern IE10 web browser and we are sure it will get a lot of use in IE11.
Yet another new feature that has come to light is a way to turn the web site tracking protection on and off in IE11. Previously, IE10 supported Do Not Track as its default and while IE11 may keep that setting, it now appears that Microsoft is going to let its users change that setting after IE11 and Windows Blue is installed and running.
This is likely a small concession to Internet advertising companies, who have expressed their displeasure to Microsoft on enabling Do Not Track on IE10.
