Windows RT 8.1 RTM leaks to the web

Microsoft is no stranger to leaked builds of Windows 8.1, and this time it's Windows 8.1 RT which makes its unofficial appearance online.

Windows RT hasn't been available in an ISO image format before, but this time Russian technology group WZOR has managed to leak Windows 8.1 RT along with a large collection of Language Packs for Office 2013 RT and device drivers for Surface RT, complete with authenticity information. These are the untouched original ISO files from Microsoft, according to the group. The main image is 2.43GB and includes the updated Office 2013 RT with Outlook.

The build string for the RT version, 9600.16384.130821-1623, is same as the regular x86/x64 versions.

Microsoft plans to officially release the update through the Windows Store on Oct. 17 and retail stores on Oct. 18.
