Windows 8 introduced the Windows Store which gave its users a central hub to download applications and to keep them updated with only a few taps to initiate the updates but it was a manual process. One of the heavily requested features was to allow the apps to be automatically updated, which will arrive with Windows Blue.
The feature is simple, by turning the toggle you see above to on, your Apps will always be updated with automatic downloads. While not a ground-breaking feature by any means, it’s a bit of spit and polish that will help to improve the end user experience of the Start screen.
Windows Blue will certainly be bringing many consumer friendly features to the platform and will be a welcomed update to the platform when it arrives which could happen as early as this summer.
