Xbox 360 Fall 2011 dashboard update public beta now open

If you have been wanting to get into the Fall 2011 Xbox 360 dashboard update program, your wait may be nearly over. Microsoft has updated its beta testing page which likely means that public registration will be opening soon.

Microsoft has updated its connect.microsoft.com to say, "We are now accepting new users into the Xbox LIVE Update Public Preview - Fall 2011 session. If you clicked on the link from Major Nelson and have not registered yet, please make sure you sign in with a Windows Live ID in the upper right hand corner. You only need to register one time."

This public beta will most likely be the last testing phase before the dashboard is rolled out to the masses. While the registration has not opened yet, we suspect that it will be opening very soon as the page was updated not that long ago.

Thanks for the tip Xerax
