The Xbox App for Windows has received a new preview release (2205.1000.17.0) that introduces several fixes to improve the overall experience. It also brings improved search results for all PC Game Pass titles including those from EA Play and Ubisoft. This is the first Xbox App preview of the month according to Xbox Wire.

While the main new feature in this release is improved search results, it also comes with two fixes that should improve the overall experience. The fixes in this update are:

  • Fixed an issue where some cloud games with custom touch controls would leave you stranded.
  • Fixed issues with narrator and screen reader to make the app even more accessible.

If you’re interested in receiving these preview releases to get all the newest features first, you can go ahead and download the Xbox Insider Hub app from the Microsoft Store on your Windows PC. Once you have the app, you can go to the previews section to see which are available to you. If you’re interested in any of them, just press join.

If you need any help troubleshooting issues, the place to go is the Xbox Insiders subreddit which has troubleshooting information and people around to help with other issues.
