Xiaomi-backed Yi launches M1 mirrorless camera for $330

Xiaomi-backed camera manufacturer, Yi, better known for its webcams and action cams has unveiled a $330 mirrorless camera that will go on sale starting 23rd September.

The M1 camera features a 20-megapixel Sony IMX269 Micro Four Thirds (MFT) sensor and comes with a 12-40 mm lens standard. The Yi camera supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE connectivity for sync and remote control using the Yi mobile app. It is capable of shooting 4K videos at 30 frames per second.

Yi has also launched a number of accessories to go with the M1 camera such as the 42.5mm lens, batteries, pouch, designer wrist and shoulder straps, and UV filter lenses. The products seem to offer great value for money, just as Yi's previous offering.

Interested buyers can purchase the Yi M1 camera from the company's online store starting 23rd September. The actual purchase will be processed by Aliexpress so it might not be available in all countries.
