Yahoo offers unlimited games on demand

The portal's online PC-game rental program is extended with an unlimited subscription for $14.95 per month.

Yahoo Games has announced that it has expanded its online PC-game rental service to let subscribers play an unlimited number of games from its library every month. Previously, the service options limited participants to renting a game for a three-day period for $4.95 or subscribing to a three- or 10-game per month program. The current options are the three-day rental, the $9.95 three-game monthly subscription, and the new unlimited $14.95 monthly subscription.

Yahoo Games' library features 85 games from a select number of major publishers, including acclaimed games like Civilization III and Tropico and more recent 2002 releases like Hitman 2, Grand Prix 4, Legion, and Bridge Commander. As the game library grows, some new releases will initially be available only for single three-day rentals and will later be added to the subscription program.
