Yahoo's Finds of the Year 2005

Yahoo UK & Ireland have announced their top finds of last year. Top of the table was a cloud watching website, called The Cloud Appreciation Society, which won the weird and wonderful website award.

Other awards included recognition for innovation (which went to Net Disaster ), travel (won by the government's site Transport for London ) and a people's choice award still to be decided.

The awards were judged by Weebl and Bob creator Jonti Picking, Computeractive Magazine's reviews editor Luke Peters, Stuff Magazine's editor-in-chief Tom Dunmore, Kieran Meeke of Metro and a selection of Yahoo employees.

The votes are still flooding in for the people's choice, of which there are 40 websites shortlisted by Yahoo to choose from.
