Huawei is now offering a chance to purchase the Honor 5X, normally priced at $199, for $1 USD. Unfortunately, you can't just pop into the Honor web store and purchase one. You'll have to navigate to the promotional purchase site and hope to get one of the specially priced handsets being offered hourly. The promotion started this morning at 8:08 am PST and will continue for the next 12 hours.
The $1 Bonanza will begin promptly on April 8, 2016 at 10:08am. There will be a total of 12 sale sessions, 1 sale session every eighth minute of every hour for 12 hours.

If you're interested in trying to purchase the handset for $1, you'll want to head to the website and register for an Honor account. Although the disclaimer does state that you must have registered prior to April 8th, we have clarified with an Honor representative that you can still register today and it will be valid for the promotion. If you aren't able to get your hands on the Honor 5X for a dollar, you can always purchase the handset for the regular price of $199 and receive a free selfie stick and headphones. If you want to try your luck, be sure to hit the source link hourly, as each hour will offer a new chance of purchasing the 5X for $1.
