You can start playing ARMS during its Global Testpunch event starting on May 26

ARMS was initially announced in January during Nintendo's Switch presentation. The title has players facing off against opponents while utilizing characters with different skill attributes. To make the fights even more interesting, players can equip their characters with different "arms", each having their own unique properties. Although there is still quite a bit of time before the game makes its way to retail, Nintendo announced earlier last month that it would be holding trials of the game during the month of May.

Starting tomorrow, Switch owners can download the ARMS Global Testpunch demo, to sample the gaming experience, before its launch. Much like the Splatoon 2 Testfire event, participants will be limited to playing in one-hour blocks at certain scheduled times. Each region could be different, so it is important to look up the times for your country. The times listed below are for the United States.

  • May 26 – 5:00 p.m. PT
  • May 27 – 5:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 5:00 p.m. PT
  • May 28 – 5:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. PT
  • June 2 – 5:00 p.m. PT
  • June 3 – 5:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 5:00 p.m. PT
  • June 4 – 5:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. PT

If you'd like to participate in the trial, be sure to download the demo from the eShop. ARMS will be released on June 16, along with special Neon Yellow Joy-Con controllers and Joy-Con Straps.
