You'll no longer get a free Display Dock with a Lumia 950 XL, but you do get a Lumia 950

Beginning four days ago, Microsoft began offering a promotion that gave customers a free Lumia 950 with the purchase of a 950 XL in the US. That was combined with another long-running deal, which offered a free Display Dock with the purchase of either device, resulting in a value of almost $1,000 for just $499.

Unfortunately, the Display Dock offer has now ended, and the Dock is no longer sold in the Microsoft Store. If you want to use Continuum with your new devices, you can either buy the Dock from another retailer, or you can use a number of other solutions, such as wireless Miracast, a USB Type-C to HDMI adapter, and more. Of course, with those solutions, you'll also need Bluetooth peripherals.

If you're still looking for a deal, you still get a free Lumia 950 as long as you purchase your 950 XL before the end of the day today. Even if you don't want the additional device, its value should offset the cost of the other, as well as the Display Dock.

Microsoft will undoubtedly have more deals on its devices throughout the holiday season, so stay tuned for more.
