Jolla Tablet is getting a surprise revival by a company you have probably never heard of. Youyota, the company behind this Sailfish OS tablet, has already raised more than its initial goal of $50,000 on Indiegogo.
The tablet is almost identical to Jolla's original offering, which was later canceled despite a successful crowdfunding attempt. As a result, its specifications are pretty unremarkable compared to modern tablets.
Youyota Tablet runs Intel's 1.8 GHz quad-core Atom processor and has 2GB of RAM. The display is a 7.85" IPS panel with 2048x1536 resolution. The rest of the specs are pretty standard. One thing that's not standard in 2017 though, is its MicroSD card support.

The tablet comes with Sailfish OS 2.1 and is expected to receive software support for at least three years. The operating system can run Android apps, but without the support of Google Play services, users having to rely on third party app repositories.
You can order the tablet in two colors: Red and Black. In terms of storage, the 32GB model will set you back $199, while the largerer capacity 64 GB one comes in at $219. There is also a $25 Bluetooth keyboard that doubles as a protective cover. Youyota expects to ship the tablet by September 2017.
