Curious about Titanfall Xbox One Collector's Edition? Here's an unboxing video

While people who don't own an Xbox One can now pre-order a version of the console with a free digital version of Titanfall, developer Respawn Entertainment and publisher Electronic Arts are still offering a highly expensive disc-based collector's edition of the upcoming first person shooter.

The $249.99 Titanfall Collector's Edition is available for pre-order and this week the team at Respawn posted up a video showing the unboxing of the massive Xbox One edition. Most of the space is reserved for the 18 inch statue of one of the game's Atlas Titans. The box and the packaging was specially designed to accommodate the statue and the video shows how it should be properly unboxed and assembled. It includes two small human grunts that can be placed on the base of the statue and a certificate of authenticity.

The Titanfall Collector's Edition comes with a slipcase covering the box that has a lot of the impressive publicity art created for the game. Besides the huge statue, the box also has the game itself on disc, a thick hardcover book showcasing the concept art made for Titanfall and a schematic of the Atlas Titan.

The Collector's Edition of Titanfall is also available to pre-order for the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game. The Xbox One and PC SKUs will be released March 11th while the Xbox 360 port will ship to stores on March 25th.
