The Huawei Watch GT's claim to fame is its battery life, which the firm says can last up to 30 days. Part of the reason it can achieve this is because it runs Huawei's own LiteOS, an open source operating system designed for IoT terminals.
It also uses a custom chipset, rather than something made by Qualcomm. Huawei says it has a dual chipset, with a high-power chip and a low-power chip. That way, when it's doing simple tasks, it's not sucking down power.
Of course, using LiteOS has disadvantages too, mainly app support. This device has 16MB RAM and 128MB of storage, so you can't exactly do anything extra with it. It does what it's designed to do.
The screen is a 1.39-inch 454x454 AMOLED display, giving it a 326ppi pixel density. This is the same as Apple's retina on an iPhone Xr. While the battery life can be up to 30 days, it can be as little as 22 hours if you keep things like GPS and heart rate monitoring on all of the time, although it should be around two weeks with average use.
