It's weird how they're making billions of dollars, have literally thousands of employees (doing God knows what) and yet somehow they need more money. How about improving the product? How about allowing us to choose whether we want to watch a stupid short in it's stupid player or watch the short in a normal video player with all the video control functions enabled? Do you not have enough employees and enough money to do that? Do you not have enough money to buy human being that actually monitor Zionist bots? I don't get it where is all the money going? Are you guys funding Israel or something? -

From the store. Or from a simple wrapper that uses Edge webview2. Edge browser and Edge webview2 are 2 completely different things. Nobody is asking from an OS not to include a web engine for its functions. A pre-installed full browser is not needed in any way to download something from the internet. Not in Windows and not in Android too. Edge webview2 or Android webview are more than enough for this. -

Are you sure your apps aren't reinstalling it? I know at least two three from top of my head that require WebView2. That being FortiVPN Client (for SAML login prompts), TeamViewer (no idea why but it auto installs it nowadays) and PrusaSlicer (and others based on it like Orca). -

I suppose the idea is that you use the first party appstore. Microsoft should get an award for Windows Store. They have been working on it for 13 years and it is still just as bad as back then!
