Microsoft has released the final build of IE7 today to customers, with the company expected to push the build by automatic updates on 1st November.

At the moment there is no link on Microsoft.com, but Yahoo has the final build bundled with Yahoo Mail. All you need to do is download the Yahoo edition and use WinRAR to extract the files and run IE7-Setup.exe (click for diagram).

Update: Thanks phantasmorph for adding the following links in the comments of this news item. The digital signatures for the Windows XP SP2 edition and the version from the Yahoo bundling are the same.

Full English Links @ Microsoft:

Windows XP SP2 Edition
Windows Server 2003 32-bit Edition
Windows XP & Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition
Windows Server 2003 ia64 Edition

As stated in the post, download the Yahoo version and then open the executable in WinRAR -- extract the "IE7-setup.exe" and run it. This installs it without branding.

Sorry, your system does not meet the minimum requirements to install Internet Explorer 7.

Internet Explorer 7 can only run on these operating systems:

* Windows XP Service Pack 2
* Windows XP Professional x64
* Windows Server 2003 SP1

Aww you mean I can't download it on my Mac for my Windows partition... tsk tsk tsk
