10 software releases you may have missed this week

From CCleaner to Pale Moon, here's a list of 10  excellent free software updates from the last week.

If you like the idea of trying out different operating systems VirtualBox 4.1.16-78094 may be what you’re looking for (still no drag-and-drop feature in the new version). All music lovers would definitely want to try a relatively new audio player. Here comes AIMP 3.10.1045 RC1,  a complete and versatile music player that allows you to listen to your favorite music with an outstanding sound quality.

AVZ Antiviral Toolkit 4.39 is a set of advanced tools capable of removing adware and spyware, network worms, trojan horses and Dialers. Instead, a detailed user manual has been published on the official website, which includes introductions to all functions within the three programs --- Writer, Spreadsheets and Presentation.

Looking for an alternative to Windows? Linux Mint 13 “Maya” has been released. Available in two editions, Linux Mint 13 features the choice between a productive, stable and mature MATE 1.2 desktop and the brand new modern-looking and exciting Cinnamon 1.4.

If there’s something every computer needs, CCleaner 3.19.1721 comes to help. CCleaner is a freeware system optimization, privacy and cleaning tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. This version comes with improved Google Chrome saved passwords cleaning, improved scheduled tasks detection, and Improved detection for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, VLC Media Player and Avast! Antivirus 6.

Last but not least Daum PotPlayer 1.5.33573 is the prefect tool when it comes to video playback on Windows. PotPlayer is an extremely light-weight multimedia player in active development. Distinctive features of the player is a high quality playback, support for all modern video and audio formats and a built DXVA video codecs.
