I installed this on my couch computer. 26.8GB used space on an SSD, quickscan in about 1 min. I'm going to try it out for a while.

after it installed on my hard disk, its size was 506MB

i wanted to test it out with a QUICK scan, went to make myself something to eat, came back 10 minutes later, the progress was still at 1%

thats outrageous, im so deleting this and never installing it again

This is actually a very good, light on the sytem install and forget AV/Slight HIPS solution. The only downside is it doesn`t update the Bitdefender sigs often enough.
Certainly good enough for putiing on F and F's boxes and great for older computers...

The name sounds too much like a certain Symantec/Norton product which will probably put some people off!

It still sounds fishy: where are the previous 359 versions?

'360' just means 'complete,' like '360 degrees' in a circle. Not necessarily a version number. Plus, if you look on their homepage, 'Qihoo 360' is the name of the company that designed it.
