Wondering why this is news? It's obvious that they constantly update flash. And it's no secret that the final will come on the second tuesday of every month, after which more betas will come. This news is like telling us are virus defs have been updated.

Flash player on desktop just refuses to die. Looks like we'd have to live with it till the mid of this decade as minimum.

yeah flash won't be gone for another 10 years (rumor has it, they're developing a whole new platform) it looks like flash, acts like flash, by golly it might just be flash... but not really flash. if that makes any sense.. built from the ground up really. people find the whole freehand drawing and scripts real easy to use on a "stage" (timeline and all), unlike java and html5 which has turned out to be incredibly hard to work with.

i'll go ahead and try this beta. i use flash for almost all my webbers, my clients just love it... now if only i could actually finish my hobby site. don't ya just love when money makes ya finish something, but when it's for yourself, zero... blaaaaah!!

i'll wait for the final version

No doubt about waiting. As buggy and insecure as this thing has ALWAYS been even when NOT using a beta version, I sure as heck wouldn't intentionally install a beta either.

Why are beta updates of Flash player always added? It's actually a bit annoying.
No other beta software are announced.

Yeah, I think most people don't really care about beta products. How about at least Neowin prefixes such announcements with Beta: or something?
