i wonder if this still has fairly major glitches in it... cause over at the cdfreaks forums the last version i think had a pretty major issue with burning cd's.

so odds are ill let this mature before i even consider using it over IMGBurn or Burrrn (these are pretty much all i been using as of late and probably will be for sometime to come)

Vista CDBurner would be a nice name

i dont know this and ashampoo i just dont like the nero express interface that both got, i want something like normal nero, so far infra recorder its one of those alternatives.

I was a v3 user 'til I found Ghosthunter's tiny CD/DVD Burning tool... the only thing I'm missing there is .ogg/.mpc support. Does CDBXP support .ogg and/or .mpc by now? Then I'll immediately switch back!

edit:
Ah, I found it... ok, I'll give it a run again.

edit 2:
It shows an error popup on choosing "New Data CD/DVD", but after closing it, I can continue the process. Hum, I reported it for now.

I agree.

CDBurnerXP Pro

they should drop 'CD' from title, makes u think it only burns CD-s (actually it can also burn DVD, HD-DVD, Bluray)
they should drop that 'XP' title, gives it an old feeling...
they should drop 'Pro' from title, makes u think there is also a regular vesion (Lite, Home, Free, ...) (and may also make u think that this is a Professional version for commercial use that costs money)

so it should be named just "Burner"?

"Burner" sounds good to me.

That's quite right, we had the excat same thoughts. And in fact, the "Pro" is no part of the name anymore, neowin needs an update.
However, a bigger name changes causes more trouble than it's worth it, because many sites just won't get, users will be confused, and so on. Thus we will probably stay forever with that name.
