I need something that will move those pesky MFT files to the beginning of my drive...thus far i have tried jkdefrag (command line, gui version, after a normal boot, and after a safe mode boot,) Auslogics disk defrag, diskeeper etc etc etc. What i want to do, is shrink my C: drive down to 25-30GB, but it (disk management...i'm on vista sp1 btw) wont let me make it any smaller than 75GB, even though 66GB of it is free space!

Mind you, it could have nothing to do with MFT files, and just another example of MS making a half arsed attempt at something with a true function.
