Still freezes 33% through defrag on my Vista laptop .. other progrmas defrag fine, but I prefer using Defraggler.

And I sure as heck don't want to buy PD AND have it running in the background all the time, like it does.

A lot of people argue that you don't ever have to defrag anymore, so why would anyone want that running in the background? I still hate programs that do that, even if not nearly the issue it used to be.

Can't be FREE, either.

What else does it need to do?

I use it for per-file defrag. It's quick, and works great. Plus it's fun to watch!

It also does full-drive defrags and can be scheduled to run at certain times.

I agree. There is not much that is special about this Defraggler other than per-file defrag. And to everyone else stating it's either this or pay for PerfectDisk, there are plenty of free defragmenting utilities that do a better job than both ie. MyDefrag.
