I will be using digsby for as long as I can simply because no other application allows access to your email like digsby does. Sure others let you see that you have email and what the subject lines are but none let you (delete, report spam, archive, mark read, etc). Its a convenience I haven't been able to give up.

But it does **** me off that dotsyntax didn't put in their contract with tagged that support and attention to their digsby users shall never change. Sucks that companies just buy for talent and not the product.

I've tried trillian but always keep going back to digsby. I HATE the way trillian does facebook notifications. It tells you how many new wallposts you have which is stupid, because you get wallposts ALL the time and is usually in the 30's. New Pokes, friend requests replies are also added to that list. So it might say 31, which means 30 wallposts and 1 new reply. It's stupid, digby's way of doing it is the way it should be done.

I also LOVE the way digsby does GMAIL. Loving that I just can't get use to the way trillian does it.

I tried Trillian again (as I'd switched to it Mac-side) but I much prefer Digsby's e-mail integration. being able to delete emails or mark them as read from a notification is great. Plus Trillian's windows always end up screwed up when I run a game.

About time! Digsby used to be an amazing multi IM protocol client, with a really dedicated team of developers, and updates/bug fixes released every other week!. They then sold out/Digsby was bought by Tagged earlier this year, and since then it's pretty much ground to a halt! ...when protocol changes have been made by Facebook/MySpace/MSN, etc, digsby users have had to wait for weeks for them to be resolved - if at all, rather than just a matter of hours as used to happen when it was in active development.
Subsequently, their app has been unusable for many users for some time with some protocols totally broke, and many loyal users have been reluctantly deserting Digsby... hopefully though this update will start to address some of broken protocols! (For me, it seems to have fixed FB integration, MySpace still appears down though)
