Google finally brings Google Calendar to the iPhone

Google has finally ported Google Calendar to the iPhone - an app which was, for a long time, an Android exclusive. The announcement was made on the Gmail blog that the app and all of the features Android users have been experiencing has now been made available on the iOS app store.

Some of the features of the app include:

  • Events from Gmail, which allow a user to automatically turn emails which contain dates and times into Calendar events.
  • Assists, which simplify the procedure of making Calendar events.
  • A "Schedule view" which is just a neater and more readable way of checking out your daily plans.
