Personally I prefer Free Download Manager. They both do pretty much the same job but this program is ugly as hell. Also FDM is free and this is $25!!! Who the hell would pay for a download manager in 2013?!

Me, it's better at the job frankly and very well updated. I went through a stack of them and I still find idm great. Choice is good though so if you're happy so am I ;-)

Been using this for several years. Works great for scheduling downloads for off-peak times.

Was troubleshooting a problem with my ISP's support using IDM to start a download. Their tech wanted to know what program I was using as he was impressed with how I was able max out my connection.
